Exactly four years ago, we promised that we would love each other for the years to come. I told you that our relationship would last for the next fifty years--and beyond! I was happy. You were happy. I thought we were perfect for each other, just like any other person who is deeply in love. We were young and idealistic then. Young love, sweet love.
The years passed by and we had to go our own ways. It was my fault, I know, for I failed to give you the importance that you most definitely deserved. I was absorbed into my personal problems and failures that I forgot that you were there--you, who I had promised to love. For that, I am deeply sorry, even though I know that my apologies will never be enough.
We parted ways. I am thrilled that you are now deeply in love with a close friend. I know him, and I know that he will not do anything to hurt you the same way I did. I don't have to ask you to love him in return, because I know you already do. As for me, I am also happy and contented with my own life right now. All's well that ends well, I suppose.
Can I just make one last promise?
I will be your friend for the next 50 years. That is a promise that I will not break anymore.
Happy *supposedly* 4th anniversary, Debbie. :)

...
you know how sometimes you feel like running away?
people are stupid sometimes. they don't know how much they hurt you. and what sucks more is that they are the people who are SUPPOSEDLY be the ones who will not hurt you.

About Online Shopping
The beauty of online shopping is its ability to save you so much time that you will otherwise waste in brick-and-mortar stores, but the beauty of online shopping does not end there.
Through the use of the Internet, comparison shopping has never as easy as today. Back then, you will have to waste a lot of energy walking around stores to get the best deals. Today, comparing online shopping deals is just a click away! This does not only involve discounts. This also involves cash back rebates that you also won't regularly get in traditional shops.
If I only had enough money in my Paypal account, I would've shopped for my not-so-urgent needs from one of these online stores but, sadly, Paypal does not allow Philippine customers to deposit money from banks at the moment.

Finally a Break
hurrah. i finally get a day-off from the store. A much deserved break. Honestly, i am stressed out na... not because of the work itself but the drama that revolves around the store.
So help me out would you.
What to do... when... you discovered that
your business partner... who is MARRIED is in a relationship with one of your employees?
and THAT EMPLOYEE is acting as if she owns the store already.
AND you do everything in your power to terminate THAT EMPLOYEE but... your business partner is protecting her.

Sem Break!
While my partner's off busying herself with her business, I get to enjoy the next two weeks or so for my semestral break--well, not quite. I think this particular semestral break will be crucial since the next semester is said to be the toughest semester in our program. With the way I lazily passed the previous semester, I need some deep thinking and preparation to do!
During the break, I plan to:
- solve some programming problems in Java. I have to refresh my Java knowledge since I hardly programmed this semester
- work on my proposals and invitations for UP ACM. This will also be a very busy semester for our organization. There will be a lot of activities concerning external entities, of which I am in charge.
- sleep a lot and fix my sleeping habits. I cannot expect myself to perform well in class if I sleep at 3 in the morning and wake up 4 hours later.
- concentrate and contemplate on what I really want to do with my life. Somewhere along the trip, I forgot where I was supposed to go. A retracking is in order.
In short, this semestral break will revolve around discipline. That is what I have to enforce not only to have a meaningful vacation, but also to re-establish good study habits and time management practices.

Medical and Dental Plans
Times are getting harder for everyone's pockets. Personally, I am most worried when the time comes when I need money so much, just to find out that I have no money to fund my needs.
Take medical bills, for instance. When you get sick, you don't know when it will be. Sicknesses do not come when they find out that you have some fresh money to burn. They just come. So better be ready while you can still pay for it.
And I don't mean forcing yourself to get sick when you have the money. I mean purchasing dental plans, as well as medical plans. With these kind of insurance plans, you are sure that you can turn to someone when the need arises.

post college was harder than i imagined. i thought i would have more time for my "whatevers" but no... immediately i was bombarded with responsibilities with my business. it left me no time for myself and for my family. literally.
so sorry if i haven't updated much.
if everything is settled, i hope i can tend to things that help me relieve stress - like the boss sec. :)
