Even at an early age, i have expressed my fascination with water and everything that has to do with it. It's no wonder that i became a swimmer (and a good one at that) and have created a fantasy of becoming a mermaid. Over the years i have learned that prayers are not enough to transform you into one and even vicky bello cannot help me at having my own set of golden fins.
So i turned to SCUBA DIVING.
There's no wonder that fishes die when you take them out of the water.
The deep blue is practically one of the best places on earth that you can be in. It's an environment where curiousity takes the best of you as you encounter colorful fishes, various water plants, and fascinating corals. Non living and living forms at 60 ft. becomes an epitome of life at its best. Something that we constantly seek here on land. The beauty underneath the ocean is incomparable to the superficial and material things that we see above. Life size aquariums do not even give the same experience as compared to what scuba diving offers to you.
The adventure of interacting with magnificent creatures and the journey of swimming into endless depths is both appealing and exciting. The freedom of existing in an entirely different world brings you to a state of eternal tranquility and contentment.
This is why i urge everyone to support every effort there is to protect our second world, the ocean. You do not have to be submerged into this paradise to be able to realize that it is worth saving. Fish bowls are just a teaser for the magic that lies beneath the ocean. What some of us don't encounter everyday, is a haven for those who seek peace. As humans, we should make the effort to respect and protect one of the true wonders in our planet.
To simply put it.
Save the ocean so nemo can find his way.
