While my partner's off busying herself with her business, I get to enjoy the next two weeks or so for my semestral break--well, not quite. I think this particular semestral break will be crucial since the next semester is said to be the toughest semester in our program. With the way I lazily passed the previous semester, I need some deep thinking and preparation to do!
During the break, I plan to:
- solve some programming problems in Java. I have to refresh my Java knowledge since I hardly programmed this semester
- work on my proposals and invitations for UP ACM. This will also be a very busy semester for our organization. There will be a lot of activities concerning external entities, of which I am in charge.
- sleep a lot and fix my sleeping habits. I cannot expect myself to perform well in class if I sleep at 3 in the morning and wake up 4 hours later.
- concentrate and contemplate on what I really want to do with my life. Somewhere along the trip, I forgot where I was supposed to go. A retracking is in order.
In short, this semestral break will revolve around discipline. That is what I have to enforce not only to have a meaningful vacation, but also to re-establish good study habits and time management practices.
